Electro-therapeutic Treatment
We use the following techniques:
Therapeutic ultrasound – a pain-free device used to promote healing and blood flow.
Real-time ultrasound imaging – used to assess the true core musculature function of the pelvis
TENs and electrical muscle stimulation – a device used for pain relief and increased blood flow by stimulating the nerves and muscles
EMG biofeedback– picks up muscle activity, can be used to train a certain muscle to work eg. VMO training in the knee.
